A growing population of wheat farmers requested a siding between Kiamal and Hattah in December 1921. The Commissioners rejected the request as they considered that practically no development had taken place in the vicinity, however an unnamed goods loop siding was completed by 15-12-1923. It was named Trinita in 1924 when a passenger platform was provided on the up side.
Relaying of the main line with 80 pounds rails had reached Trinita by March 1928.
Following the Commissioner's inspection tour of the Mildura line on 14-5-1941, they agreed to provide stock trucking facilities at Trinita.
Settlement did not live up to expectations in this remote mallee area and the station closed for all traffic on 31-3-1956. There is very little to remind anyone but the keenest observer that a station existed at Trinita.
